This digital edition of the musical settings of Torquato Tasso's poetry (c. 1570-1640), which is still under development, will eventually provide all known musical settings up to 1640 of the poet's rime and celebrated epics, including Gerusalemme liberata, and other works. The site is intended to present analytical views of the music and the poetry, for which there will also be textual concordances. A "play" button enables synthetic performance, which is highlighted in the on-screen score.
